When I first took the role at Blue Nile as Senior Art Director, on-figure photography was at its beginning stages. Once the stakeholders saw the success of it, we were tasked with figuring out a way to bring this dynamic view of our jewelry to our PDP pages. Previously working with stock photo options, I researched ways to bring BN’s brilliant moments into these shots. My solution was an editorial approach to a large-scale production, with an emphasis on diversity and real people's real moments; while wearing out really beautiful jewelry.
